Overview

Welcome to our HCI benchmark data sets for densely sampled 4D light fields.

A complete description of the datasets and the acquisition process is available in the following paper.
Please refer to this work if you use any of the datasets for your own publications!

Benchmark Code

The complete set of algorithm we evaluated is implemented in our light field suite, which is part of a CUDA library for convex continuous optimization (cocolib).

COCOLIB is licensed under GPL3, see the documentation for the library for proper ways to cite it if you would like to use it for your own publications.

Benchmark Results

Current benchmark results for disparity reconstruction are shown in the table below. See here for a description of the algorithms. If you would like to add the results for your own algorithm, please contact us.


Dataset Downloads

Datasets can be downloaded individually below. For mass download of everything, a script is provided in our light field suite. You can also get the script directly from here.

All data sets are available as HDF5 files. A general reference manual for the HDF5 file format is available here. The specific way we use this container format to store the light fields is described in our paper.
