Different projects in collaboration with our industrial partners aim to advance process and quality control in a diverse field of applications.
The aim of industrial process control in collaboration with Heidelberger Druckmaschinen AG is to develop a system that improves the robustness of the paper-flow in industrial printing devices. As input data image sequences and their corresponding state information are recorded at the sheet feeder. Techniques from image processing are used to analyze and extract relevant information, allowing to automatically adjust the machine parameters and prevent printing errors.
