Sid

I'm a PhD student under Bogdan Savchynskyy and Carsten Rother working on developing  Block Coordinate Ascent (BCA) type MAP-inference algorithms suitable for MRFs that are suitable for parallelization. Also, on applications of them for bio-imaging.

My projects thus far:

MPLP++: Fast and Parallelizable Block Coordinate Ascent for Dense Graphical Models

A Taxonomy of Dual Block-Coordinate Ascent Methods for Discrete Energy Minimization
